Candy Bar Birthday Party

We did a candy bar theme for my daughter's 8th birthday party.
I found inspiration from Pinterest, candy from Crackle Barrel,
and cute cupcake decorations at Target to pull it all together!

This vintage Candy Bar free printout I found at:

Everyone loved the marshmallow pops!
All you need is marshmallows, chocolate,
sprinkles, and lollipop sticks.
Directions on how to make below!

Instagram pic of the whole candy bar table.
The ice cream pinata was from Target.

Homemade strawberry and cream cheese cupcakes.
Glazed donuts, marshmallow pops,
candy and sodas from Crackle Barrel,
and ice cream chalk from the Dollar Store.

Bubble Gum, Mary Jane's, and Fruit Slices!

Pink lemonade and paper straws were a hit!

My happy birthday girl!

Marshmallow Pops

Melt chocolate in the microwave.
Dip a lollipop stick in the chocolate and poke through the marshmallow.
Roll the top of the marshmallow in the chocolate.  Add sprinkles.
Place in refrigerator until ready to use.

So cute!!

Pirate Birthday Party

My son's pirate birthday party was a success!!  The kids had a great time dressing up and "walking the plank".  I totally forgot to take a picture of the table decorated but it was cute.  It had a pirate map tablecloth, a treasure chest from the Parent Teacher Store filled with pirate loot, and a bunch of accessories for the kids to dress up with like bandannas, eye patches and earrings.

the captain left the birthday boy a message... it says
"Arrr me mateys!  Happy Birthday to me hearty Dylan. Hope ye scalliwags have a swashbuckeling good time.  Yer Captain"

...the kids had a great time doing this, by the end they were falling off and being eaten by sharks!

they made hats out of newspapers and telescopes out of
empty paper towel rolls and decorated them

Now I have to start working on decorating my daughter's room for her birthday present next month.
